After seeing the distressing scenes with the tower block fire in London, you see what fire can destroy , not only buildings but lives.
What I am asking of our fans is , if you see anyone smoking or using the electronic cigarettes, will you please tell them to stop using them in the ground. It is not only against ground safety, but they are giving little disregard to peoples lives.

well it hit home to me i have never smoked but told a number of people not to smoke
in ground and sure as hell not near me or wife or grandpa....all none smokers...

I see people smoking in the railway end where there's no roof. No idea what the grounds policy is on that but as long as its an open area i don't see the issue.

I do take umbrage at people who use tragedy to push their personal agendas though.

Smoking Policy in Ground states, no smoking or e-cigarettes in main stand, Wheldon Road stand or Princess Street stand.
I have no agenda, just to keep my fellow supporters safe.

I've seen a couple of people smoking them e cigs, so have the stewards, unfortunately they don't do any thing to stop it.
It's not like you cant see the smoke, it's like a smoke signal.

It's just about respect really,does my head in getting big plumes of smoke blown in my face.if they blew it upwards I don't think I'd mind but they have no respect for the people around them.should be banned in every stand

There are designated areas that smoking is not allowed, If someone is smoking in these areas. The stewards should be doing what they're paid for and evicting them.

Apart from that. People are doing no wrong.

Didn't mean to be flippant. but really. I'm a smoker and I know it upsets some people so I try my best not to annoy anybody .but to try and link it with the tower block ..........it was caused buy some idiot buying a cheap fridge !!!!!!.i.m not blaming the guy fridges are bloody expensive. We have all had the chance to buy something hooky.

I thought smoking was permitted at the railway end with it being all open . If you dont want to stand near smokers go in the family area , princess street stand or the seated stand . Plenty of options.

Why don't you mind your own business if someone smokes (in an area they're permitted to)

If you don't like it, chuff off to a non smoking area or move slightly away instead of bothering someone who's doing nothing to bother you.

If you told me to stop smoking you'd cause worse problems as it would cause an argument, then people taking sides.
