Re: Fixture change
A little bit annoying this, loved the Saturday 7 o'clock time v Wigan and could get home at a reasonable time, even worse it's on sky

Re: Fixture change
Thought Sky games for all fixtures up to the split were decided before the season began?
Really does make having a season ticket questionable. I had organised my weekend so I could be at the game on the Saturday, so now can't do the Friday.
Very frustrating.
And will cost the club money (in this case lost revenue from a child's ticket, the money I spend in the bar and the associated items my daughter tends to persuade me to buy).

One happy supporter here as it means I can now go
Re: Fixture change
I thought this was going to be a sell out crowd, changing it to Friday and on sky you can knock 2,000 of the gate, but we have to do what the paymasters tell us, as I have pointed out on another thread it would be a nice gesture not costing a lot of money to let season ticket holders not being able to attend to swap their match day voucher for a free DVD of the match ,
Re: Fixture change
Glad you knew that HuddsTiger cos my local sports club didn’t and they had a dinner booked in that Friday with 90 paying guests, catering sorted, Mick Morgan comparing and Angus Fraser speaking. Now all having to be re-arranged at 17 days notice as it needs to go ahead. Need a new venue, caterer and compere from somewhere but as long as Sky are happy ....HuddsTigers wrote:Was always going to happen.
Re: Fixture change
I guess from seeing there was no Friday game announced by SKY for that round of games, it was inevitable as it is the tie of the round.
However, it is the lateness of the switch. A fellow director at my company had booked an independent coach, filled it with 50 people, and now it has been changed, he has called around and only 14 have been able to commit so far as people had swapped shifts, or arranged other things.
Still be 3000+ from Hull I would imagine, love Cas away

Re: Fixture change
Just looked at the Sky schedule and four of our next five games are on Sky:
Leeds away
Hull home
Wakefield away
Catalan away
The week we play Salford at home, Sky have so far only announced the Wigan v Warrington game as being shown and that's on Thursday 13th July. What's the betting that our game gets moved to be on TV also?
