Looking at the 13 on 13 training pics seeming highly likely Webster will be rested with Monaghan in the centre
Probably give lynch a night off aswell as possibly Roberts have all e raring to go on Monday

You've just mentioned it's 13 on 13 so that explains why. ;)

Webster's also in the pictures with Minikin as is the normal team.

Reading the Widnes board , they are expecting a long night
The alltime record score of 84-6 under threat according to a few lol .
Hope we are well clear after 60 mins amd bring Gale and co off for monday , i know we fans like to keep the 'foot on the throat' so to speak but as soon as the game is won we need to bring bodies off . Long season ahead and cant afford a burnout end of the season IMO.

Only thing putting me off having good bet on cas -28 is fear we might ease off in second half has as happened before still might tho..

Even if we do ease of in the second half, we should be well clear of Widnes by more than 28.

Dont think it will be as big a score as some think. I wouldnt risk Roberts or 20 minutes max to save for Monday. Larroyer in for Moors. Springer in for Lynch or Millo. I would even give Gill a game looking at the Widnes squad. Possibly rest Zak too the game should be that easy.

Eden
Gill
Shenny
Minikin
Monnas
Holmes
Gale
Springer
McShane
Millo
Larroyer
McMeekan
Milner

Roberts
Cook
Massey
JSL

Should be plenty there and a few get a much needed rest.

Ben Roberts
Joel Monaghan
Greg Minikin
Michael Shenton
Greg Eden
Tom Holmes
Luke Gale
Andy Lynch
Paul McShane
Gadwin Springer
Jesse Sene-Lafao
Mike McMeeken
Adam Milner

Grant Millington
Nathan Massey
Kevin Larroyer
Matt Cook

Agree, continue the momentum. We can't be underestimating any team. I also think that some results will go our way this weekend so we could extend our lead if we beat Widnes.

Strongest team for me.

Weather looks cracking for the game tomorrow.
21 degrees at 8pm
Let's hope we can put a cracking show on with some stunning rugby league.

Can't wait.

My only concern is over confidence. Last season we were expected to soundly beat them and we couldn't catch a fly for 70 mins and only run them close in last 10 mins

Need to be in the ball from start and hammer them early. Longer it takes for us to get going my confidence they'll get against us

What an interesting turn of phrase

I agree though, I'm certainly one for avoiding any sort of complacency. I would say that the confidence of the two teams if very different compared with that game, however, and with Widnes having so many players out it's hard to see them having to much other than soak up a lot of Cas pressure.

I would still hope for a big Cas win though.

Now is the time to get 4 easy pts on the board and cement our place at the top. We can do this by resting a few players over the 2 games easy.

We could rest 4 or 5 in each game and should still win comfortably.
