This is a long road and there may well be many twists and turns before arriving.

Coal extraction has now come back to haunt us and if that's running till April 2018 you have to say at least another 3 years .
The biggest concern to me is the 10 million budget to build has to be at least 30/40% out by now.
If following BREXIT we do have a slow down in retail/leisure etc we may have a further delay.

Its really hard for fans who want this to happen. I do for the sake of revenue and facilities because it will never have an atmosphere the same as we currently have.
For now enjoy the special times we are having because this could be the year of the Tiger.

Robbo, the groundworks will be completed by the end of 2018. A year to build everything. We'll be in in 2020. The funding is already secured.
Well as I said at the time HUDD funding is far from secure.
This is a commercial project that has to make sense for the developer.
Until it does it cannot be said its 100% on.

Todays update pretty much sums up the situation. We remain ever hopeful.

While we cannot make a start on construction until our leasing and funding agreements are fully in place, we are working hard to make sure that all of the other complex and technical hurdles, such as the pre-commencement planning conditions, are all cleared.

Think that's fairly clear.

I think brexit has complicated the whole project & now im not as confident it will happen, but i just hope & pray it will.

We all do but lets not get carried away. I think we will get there but a few rather large Bumps on the way.

My team
Monaghan
Eden
Shenton
Webster
Minikin
Chase
T. Holmes
Lynch
McShane
Cook
JSL
Larroyer
Milner

Moors
Millington
Massey
Gill

To me that team is strong enough to over turn Huddersfield

Looks like Tom Holmes and Larroyer may come into the fray then for me. Gill and Foster 18th/19th men.

Also, I was having a think over the weekend and maybe Millington may be better moving to 6 for his defence and size. Huddersfield have a couple of big units in Ikahihifo and Ta'ai and Chase and McShane aren't the biggest of guys. May get targeted.

Eden
Minikin
Shenton
Webster
Monaghan
Millington
Chase
Lynch
McShane
Springer
Sene-Lefao
Larroyer
Milner

Cook
Moors
T. Holmes
Massey

Eden at Fullback 100%. We signed him to replace Dorn before Zak came onto our radar.

FB - Eden
W - Monaghan
C - Webster
C - Shenton
W - Minikin
SO - Chase
SH - McShane
PR - Lynch
HK - Milner
PR - Springer
SR - Foster / Moors
SR - JSL
LF - Massey

SUB - Millington
SUB - Moors / Foster
SUB - Cook
SUB - T Holmes

Gill and Larroyer to miss out for me.

I think we will be seeing Milner and McShane play 80 mins each. Starting with either Foster or Moors dependant on if DP is wanting the impact off the bench.

Roberts to make a miraculous recover on Wednesday and get selected? ;)

I'd pick players where they have been playing all season. Keep Eden on the wing If we can. It's worked so why change it Monaghan is still not slow he looked rapid to me when we played them down the lane. There is a half back in the squad in young tom Holmes I hope we use him there from the start rather than a prop. But this is me. I'm not coaching the team at the top of super league there is no pressure on me.
