Wakefield friday
Wakefield friday
Getting a feeling on social media from fans that this game will be a walk in the park.i really don't think it will.obviosly I hope we blow em off park but I'm expecting a very difficult game.theyre winning games and winning breeds confidence could be a cracker.

Re: Wakefield friday
I don't think any game against Wakey is a gimme, we're riding high and they'll be desperate to stop us.
Should be a good game but I do expect Cas to win.

Re: Wakefield friday
First 20 minutes is vital. Lets play solid steady rugby and save the champagne stuff for later in the game. Got a feeling that this will be a close encounter, Wakey are turning in some decent performances and will be desperate to turn us over.
It will also be nice for their fans to see what a full ground looks like.

Were at home, bang in form. Id expect it to be close for a while then our class will see us pull clear.

Tickets are going very quickly
Around 7k already gone I believe though I'm sure that will include season ticket holders
A full house for a local derby
Nothing better

I'd be going as strong as we can against Wakey, secure the 2 points and then what will be will be on Monday at Saintstigerfeat wrote:Wonder how powell will go with the team ..will he play strongest team he can and worry about saints after final whistle or keep a few back for monday

Re: Wakefield friday
Is Lynch injured?
I wouldn't have Junior playing both, or Millo. Otherwise play it by ear. One expert said that most coaches are happy with one from two over Easter.

Agree gotta go with the strongest side available and then see how we look on bodies for the Monday. The Easter Monday game can be a lottery with the short turnaround.
Wakey have had a decent start to the season and I think they'll beat Widnes tonight so will be full of confidence and feel like they've nothing to lose against us. I imagine it will be close to if not a sell out so will be a cracking atmosphere.

Go for the throat against WTW. An away win at Saints is a bonus over Easter.

Wonder if their fans will be bringing banners in protest of Box/Council/Yorkcourt as its on Sky?
Put the strongest team available out,get the result and worry about Saints after next Friday. Saints will have a tough game next week to get over as well.

Need to make Wheldon road a fortress.
So far unbeaten.
Strongest team against wakey.
Saints game will look after it's self.

It sounds like, for once, most of us are agreeing! Strongest team for Friday and let Monday look after itself

I recon a decent size flag at the WR end with "Peter is a Cas Fan" should do the trick.duke street 10 wrote:Wonder if their fans will be bringing banners in protest of Box/Council/Yorkcourt as its on Sky?
