Wigan game
Re: Wigan game
1 Grix. Hardaker
5 Jones-Bishop. Eden
18 Arundel. Shenton (if fit)
3 Tupou. Webster
2 Johnstone. Minikin
14 Williams. Roberts
7 Finn. Gale
10 All good. Lynch (if fit)
9 Wood. McShane
15 Fifita. Springer
11 Ashurst Holmes
12 Kirmond. McMeeken
16 Arona. Milner
Substitutes
6 Miller. Chase
17 Huby. Millington
32 Hadley. JSL
23 Hirst. Moors
This is the team I would take if all fit against their team that played Widnes on Friday, I would not take 1 of their 17 over ours. Yes they will be up for it. However, we should be more than equal to the task and if we play to our potential we should beat them convincingly. This isn't complacency it is being realistic. If we do lose or only just nick it, we haven't played to our potential.

Re: Wigan game
Certainly think they have the better wingers and would have a field day if they were in Cas side, but we look much better in halves and elsewhere.tigerfeat wrote:i wouldnt have anybody over minikin myself but id find a way to get tom johnstone in my team i think

Re: Wigan game
I don't get the hype behind Johnstone...yes he's quick but he can't tackle, has woeful defensive positioning on top of that and he couldn't catch a cold!

Smith reckons to be a top coach. Why didn't he get him from York?the machine wrote:a full back and centre should be bigger priorities for themlurcher wrote:spoke to some wire fans at the weekend and they reckon he's top of tony smiths shopping list for next season.tigerfeat wrote:i wouldnt have anybody over minikin myself but id find a way to get tom johnstone in my team i think

Re: Wigan game
Even the Hull fans were blown away by the team performance, probably envious too!

No Doubt after this and last years on the field displays the richer clubs will have been casting an eye over some of our players, but as our club as become stronger financially in all departments we should be able to ward of most of their intentions, the players themselves look an happy bunch and look like they enjoy coming to their place of employment , as any of you know who have moved jobs for money, in a lot of cases you have thought WHY THE HELL DID I MOVE

Re: Wigan game
Agree about BJB , but Johnstone would certainly get in the team for me . Even if it meant dropping Eden or moving Minikin to centre .

Re: Wigan game
Obviously not seen some of the tries BJB as scored throughout his career and some great finishes in particular this campaign.fords wrote:What planet are you on. I think most SL wingers would score a hatful of tries on our flanks and I'm pretty sure both BJB and Johnstone would be top of the try scoring list if they played for us.
Just my humble opinion mate.
Re: Wigan game
