Really think this will be our toughest game yet,Salford are just one of those teams that goes close choose who they play. True they don't always win but they are a tough team with some hard players that can mix it.

I can see us outnumbering the home support if you want to stand I'd be buying tickets now has I've no doubt it's going to be a sold out sign going up behind the posts.

Similar situation to 2014. We'd won our first 5, including a win over Wigan and went to Salford with 2000 fans expecting more of the same. Didn't quite go to plan.

I'd argue that we have a more balanced side overall than in 2014, and certainly a more disciplined defence. Even Thaler couldn't stop us breaking a few records last home game

So that's at least a one match ban, isn't it?

it will be nice to get the Widnes and Salford away games done with, I do hate traveling over there even on a Sunday , Eccles ARLFC club will be looking forward to a lot of us parking there, it takes an age to get out if you park at the stadium

I'll be parking there again. A bit of a walk but safe and easy to get away from.

Many thanks in advance

It takes just over 20 minutes to walk from Salford city Reds as it's now called, about 1 1/4 miles. Bar was open last time we played there. Stadium parking I don't advise, takes over an hour to get out.

Has anyone tried walking from Trafford centre, over river and along the river to get to the stadium from the back?

Capacity of the north (away) stand (or wooden spoon stand) is 2,500 standing only.

Feels like it will be just about big enough.....!!
