GAME DAY
Re: GAME DAY
Back to the game, rather that gossiping...
Really pleased with last night, thought the whole team went well.
What was pleasing was the number of near time we close to stringing something together but just fell short, yet still managed to put 44 past them. If a few more passes had stuck would have easily been 60!
Very happy to see Roberts fit straight back in, looks very strong this year, and think he really adds another dimension to our game, especially his running game.
All the forwards went well, Millo is a total class act, totally selfless player and an incredible addition to our team. I love how cook goes into a tack and manages to stay at about a 60 degree angle pushing for every extra yard.
Also great to see Shenny back out there looking as lively as every.
Was nice to see that Mcmeeken got the SKY MOM, got through some solid work last night.
If I were a Leeds fan I would be worried about next week, at least Leigh have some half backs who are willing to pass the ball around a little, and it is their first home game in SL.
Cant agree about swapping Joel in for Minikin, he went really well last night putting away two tries and some good scrambling tackles. I understand the argument that joel may be better under the high ball but that it!
Finally how on earth do we fit Oli and Adz back in that team! some real competition this year.

Re: GAME DAY
Only gripe I have from last night and last season is touch finding kicks
Apart from that if you had said for 50mins we'd been totally dominant on such a cold evening we'd have all snapped their hands off
Keep building boys

Most of the fans around us groaned on the short touch finding.

It is frustrating, but we score from anywhere so it's no concern

Leigh went for a long touch at one point... how'd that work out for them?
I'll take 10 metres and a set of six over risking not finding touch any day.
Re: GAME DAY
I was worried about Minikin under the high ball...Warrington back 3 couldn't catch a cold!!!
