yes agree but our 19s are a very young squad even for that comp, they need to learn to walk before they can run but they have every chance given time to flourish. ;)

One or two players coming back from injury and one or two new players that will probably slot straight into the starting line up. We just need them to gel and pick up a bit of match fitness in the friendlies. Other than not picking up too many more injuries, i'd be expecting a top 4 finish and a good cup run. Fingers crossed. Tighten our defence and score like we were doing last year and we will definitely be in with a shout of winning something.

Best case scenario...new players settle quickly, defense stiffens and the squad stays relatively injury free...3rd and a real shot at Old Trafford.

Worst case...another injury crisis, squad unrest and multiple transfer requests...9th.

Next year our defence will be better. I would say between just Shenton and hadaker alone they will save us conceding 15 try's over the full season so that is 60 less in the points against. Oli Holmes will be playing from the start of the season and when he came back nearly half way through last season our defence improved dramatically. So maybe another 3-4 tries saved there. We also now have 3 genuine super league standard half backs so should have 2 fit most of the season so should be more creative down both sides so will see a move even split with tries for wingers. So for me top 4+

top 2 finish. Would be amazing to get a home play off tie.
Would love to get an appearence at Wembley again but would happily give that up if it meant an appearence at Old Trafford.
