Webster and Monoghan will also leave next year to allow us to buy others where required

I'm up for that FC. It would certainly get some fans down t' lane and sell some ale.Flat Capper wrote:Perhaps we can meet and great at the forthcoming Tigers Beer Festival?

     brilliant bit of buisness by cas. now if solomona stays we could be on to something big.
Re: Cas sign Hardaker
Who would have thought a signing like this would happened a few seasons ago, ?? We were the club that were selling our best talents to anyone that were prepared to pay, so we could keep the club afloat , another big wrap to our board WELL DONE

Re: Cas sign Hardaker
Whether you love or hate him Hardaker on his day is the best fullback in the league. If he leaves his baggage at Leeds we have a very good player on our hands. With or without Denny I see no reason we can't top this league, out of top 4 would be a failure.

Re: Cas sign Hardaker
Possibly our biggest signing since we landed Lee Crooks from Leeds and I hope it works out as well.
Re: Cas sign Hardaker
I too would like to commend the club on negotiating what looks to be a well thought out, positive and intelligent deal for a top player. If we had made the signing a permanent one and ZH had brought baggage / problems (although I am confident he won't) to the club, we would have been lumbered with it. If we had merely taken out a one year loan, with no stipulations in it, and he got back to his brilliant best, we would have merely rehabilitated him for Leeds and another club, as they would then have placed an exhorbitant fee on him, and sold him to the highest bidder.
However by having a pre-arranged stipulated fee in the agreement, we will be able to reap any benefits of the hard work and time we put in, in getting him something back to what he was. Well done to all who brokered this deal.

So I said to the Taxi driver, "King Edwards Close". He replied "It's alright we'll lose him at the next set of lights".

I remember a player called Crooks who we brought in from Leeds, and he had more baggage than most players, but he turned his life around at Cas and became one of the best props we have seen in a Cas shirt.

Looks like we've learnt from the Marc Sneyd saga of 2014!!Bengal wrote:I too would like to commend the club on negotiating what looks to be a well thought out, positive and intelligent deal for a top player.
