Maher wont play for Cas again unless he massively improves his speed and stamina . With the new interchange rules how's he going to last

Where has this interchange rule change come from? There's been nothing announced?

So nothing definite about reducing the inter - change yet. Interesting what Tony Smith commented on.

That's an old article (July 2015) and if it's as reliable as the adjacent headline relating to Sheffield Eagles I don't think there's any need to hold my breath.

Old or not it's there in black and white so who knows.
It may have been a rule brought in to the NRL to help then national team get back on a par with the Kiwis. Introduction of lesser interchanges would hinder the NZ pack of big units and draining their go forward through fatigue
