Ben Crooks

Post by Tigers123 » 12 Oct 2016, 17:51

I think Ben crooks has been very good this year and takes a lot of unfair criticism. His defence is unreal and as been given no service on that right side. I think you 'so called' fans need to stop giving him a hard time.

He doesn't put a foot wrong but he does need more ball - doesn't help that we had Solomona on the other side getting all the service. With Roberts back next year, I do think this change.

Agree with most of this but think hes 4th choice centre now behind Shenton Minikin n Webster so might have to wait for injuries to kick in before getting another chance.

Might even find himself out on DR next season.

I agree that he is probably behind these other centres, but I would be looking after Webster and rotating him. We are also assuming Shenny is going to be fully fit, which we all hope for.

I disagree.
I only remember him making one try assist for his winger.
Coughs up lots of possession too with boor ball handling.
Way behind Shenton, Minikin and Webster for me.

in Bens defence at the back end of the season he was improving with every game last season nearly every play was going down Dennys side, when Rangi came on board we played more across the park that's when Bens game improved,

Crooks got no/little service as Gale always goes left. With Roberts or Rangi pushing the ball right Crooks will go alright. His defence was very good which was his main weakness when he signed. Good headache for DP to have, I see Minikin as the future star, but they could all have a role to play.
