I've always liked the idea of having beer from local independent micro breweries
Plus visitors be them regular season ticket die hards to first timers can have a more unique experience than the monotony of Tetley's etc.
Justifies the price too opposed to £3.50 for a bottle of Carlsberg
Drinks are very expensive for the quality of products
Maybe that's why fans drink elsewhere....
Capture your customers imagination and offer something different.

There's plenty of choice east and west of Cas.
Small world beers are good in Shelley
Old Mill brewery in Snaith
I just think it's different and would add a spin on the Cas Tigers away fixture for our visitors along with varied higher quality for us regulars (based on it being kept well)

Re: New stadium needs
I've not found a recently built sports stadium with pub priced beers. They have a captive audience and milk them for what they can. If you want good quality reasonably priced beers you need a daily turnover, not a few days in a month. A multi-use facility, such as the Leeds Carnegie Stand, still won't sell alcohol regularly because of the nature of the patrons not there for the rugby. That is business users, education/ conference types.

The brewery in Whitwood is Revoutions Brewery. The are holding a beer festival at the Queens Mill (the old Allinsons flour mill) November 4-5th. 30 Different ales to try. Entry is by ticket only. Revolutions Brewery's phone number is 01977 552649. CheersJINJER wrote:Isn't there a craft brewery at Whitwood?
Re: New stadium needs
Would a micro brew be able to provide the support needed in terms of but tech and amount of beer? Probably not. Also cask is not the way forward on match days in public bars were as keg and this stuff they call "craft" keg is better way forward thes are available from some of the larger independent brewery's but more than likely you will end up with the larger being carlsberg or fosters as it is cheap and readily available. But like I say as far as keg beer goes, theakstons and Blacksheep both do decent keg beer.
