Two Teams

Post by 1935 year of the tiger » 26 Sep 2016, 23:34

Out of interest I formulated the following team out of the squad players who didn't feature yesterday. All positions covered other than there is no specialised hooker.

Ash Robson
Joel Monaghan
Michael Shenton
Kieran Gill
J Y Hitchcox
Ben Roberts
Tom Holmes

Andy Lynch
Larne Patrick
Lee Jewitt
Frankie Mariano
Junior Moors
Nathan Massey

Ryan Boyle
Connor Fitzsimmons
Brandon Douglas
Brandon Westerman

I actually think that this team would hold its own.
It's a long time since we had enough squad depth for two teams and highlights just how ravaged the team has been with the injuries sustained during the season.

Millington?

And given Milo has played 6 you could put him there and have Roberts at 9

Forgot about Millington - unforgivable, so the team would be:

Ash Robson
Joel Monaghan
Michael Shenton
Kieran Gill
J Y Hitchcox
Grant Millington
Tom Holmes

Andy Lynch
Ben Roberts
Lee Jewitt
Frankie Mariano
Junior Moors
Nathan Massey

Larne Patrick
Ryan Boyle
Connor Fitzsimmons
Brandon Douglas

I would give this team a good chance against most clubs and this represents the players who didnt feature on Sunday.Gives a good indication of the depth we have now have at the club.
