   Well done lads for giving such a good account of yourselves in a game you clearly should have won.
The club have gone up numerous levels over the past few weeks and it is key to not let this little slip get in the way of our great progression.

Still have a panic streak that costs us key moments
That's lack of big game experience
Should be winning with 90sec on the clock but a superb effort again and they'll be a better team for it.
Warrington won't have enjoyed such a ding dong battle with next week looming

We still need to keep pushing and another fine effort on the back of the last two performances

We've nothing to lose from our remaining fixtures

Letting in just 14 points against the highest scoring team in the league in their own backyard is very impressive. Disappointed by the last few seconds, but no complaints about where we are.

Thats top 4 gone now has it?.

We need to keep pushing in the 8's though. Mentally should treat the top 8's as having started from zero and take a good finish that into the close season.

Hard luck lads rest up for a week then get back and smash the pussies! :)

Couldn't fault the effort today, put a real shift in.

We were a bit flat on attack though and the timing was out. Had plenty of good attacking opportunities but it just wasn't clicking today.

Need to remember, though, that we are playing minus 7 of our 1-13. The way we've been performing I think people forget that.

Another fantastic performance from Cas, yet again, against a top three team pretty much at full strength.

Yes. gutted at the end but, we are still missing seven of our starting 1 to 13, including four backs. Rip seven out of the Warrington team, including both centres, a winger and one of their half backs and how you think they would have got on today?

But, don't expect to see the story '"injury ravaged Cas take it down to the Wire" (pretty good headline that!) in any of the RL media. Yet last week I laughed when read that poor old Wigan were "missing their captain O'laughlin" We have been without out captain since half way through the first game of the season! but se la vie. Get them back for a good pre-season and then get an injury free-ish 2017 and WE WILL be challenge for silverware!

Pretty dissapointed we didn't rip in to them with them having such a huge game next week, just thought we were not physical enough.
We nearly pinched it but can't have any complaints with 3 tries to 1. We really don't have a plan B when sides close Dorn down do we.

can't believe some of the negativity on this thread. For those of us at Warrington the last minute loss was pretty gut-wrenching. BUT; Monaghan, Webster, Shenton, Roberts, Lynch, Mcmeeken and Massey were all sat in the stands. IT WAS A FANTASTIC DISPLAY FROM CAS, A Challenge Cup weekend off and CAS can win the final four games of the season and as DP said after the game retain the talent and look forward to next season.

You forgot to mention Jewitt also, 8 out of what would have been our stating line up so the future looks bright for next year, just feel a little down with the final out come today.

As Powell as said these super 8s are not just about this season it's about progressing as a team and been a top 4 team.showing we can compete with anyone and we're doing that.

Lets not think that the 7/8 missing players think they can walk straight back into the team either.

Competition for all places now
