If the RFL play to the same system and fixtures as last year we would end up with a schedule as follows.
As the RFL aren't very bright I don't think this will be far off
Week 1 - Away to HULL FC
Week 2 - Away to CATALANS
Week 3 - Home to WIGAN
Week 4 - Home to WIDNES
Week 5 - Away to SAINTS
Week 6 - Home to WAKEY
Week 7 - Away to WIRE
This is based on the order Warrington played their games last year when they finished 6th.
With week 1 being 4th-7th August and missing the CC Final Weekend.
Lets see on Wednesday morning or when someone leaks it tomorrow.
Same as last year?
Same as last year?
TOP 6? stranger things happen!
Re: Same as last year?
Reckon they will try to avoid playing Hull FC and Wigan Warriors home games on the same weekend as their ground sharing football clubs, so a lot will depend on Hull and Wigan football clubs fixtures.
Both Wigan and Hull football clubs have home games on 13th August and 17th September, so I would think on those weekends they will play away, although obviously Wigan wouldn't be able to play at Hull on either of those dates. It will also very much depend on which fixtures Sky would like played and when, for their schedules, there's also Catalans to consider, with them playing all their home games on Saturday, I would think they would be less likely to play away on the following Thursday, it's all very interesting!
As you say, all will be revealed on Wednesday and I can't wait to see when we play our Super 8 games.
It would be good if we were to get whoever is playing in the Cup Final either side of the big game, so maybe Warrington the week before and Hull (or God forbid Wigan) the week after.

Re: Same as last year?
it would be nice and also practical for catalan to play all there home fixtures in september so those who would like to go won't have to pay stupid money like we did last august, but then that would mean the rfl thought about the supporters.
Re: Same as last year?
Catalans away 17th Sept, book the wife a weekend in L'loret before the fixtures get announced. Wire away week before Cup Final so might be a good time to play them.
Re: Same as last year?
Any what do Catalan do for revenue coming into their club in August??? What a dense suggestion.greenhouse wrote:it would be nice and also practical for catalan to play all there home fixtures in september so those who would like to go won't have to pay stupid money like we did last august, but then that would mean the rfl thought about the supporters.

Re: Same as last year?
same as we did last year was it ? without an home fixture for seven weeks.ask catalan what they would prefer half a dozen going in august or a couple of hundred in september. then see which is the dense comment.
