Read the planning app it will tell you all you need to know it's four sided.

It is envisaged that the Community Stadium will consist of the following;

West Stand with a seated capacity for 3,200 covered spectators. 
East Stand with a standing capacity for 3,100 covered spectators.
North Stand with a standing capacity of 1,850 covered spectators.
South Stand with a standing capacity of 1,850 covered spectators

So the main seating stand will be the one closest to Xscape. Behind posts are covered standing and opposite side is also standing.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

I thought they had coal to remove first?

As I understand it the coal will be removed as part of the groundworks. Assuming the coal will be stripped and foundations laid in one go.

I Thought it was stated that building regs say you can not opencast mine that near to residential areas.

Perhaps not but earthworks are required and if this results in mineral extraction it's just pure coincidence. ;)

Just forget about it, if it happens it does, if it don't then, as you were.

To be honest yorky, I don't get to know anything about the stadium, only whats on here or if steve gill puts an announcement out......and I live half a mile from the ground (jungle)

I don't go looking for news on the new ground cos have heard so many promises.
I just let nature take its cause and when it happens it happens.

Little bit off topic, but B&Q aren't moving and the Sainsburys thing isn't happening now on the B&Q site. Should make any supermarket that want's to sign up to the new Cas ground site feel better.

Shenton says in new RL World mag "the club is set to announce some very exciting news about the ground soon. I can't tell you too much or I'll get into trouble, but it's going to generate a buzz around the club"

Is this gonna be the best Christmas present for the fans from the club, or will it happen after Christmas.
