Not what we all wanted to hear just as he has been playing some of his most consistent rugby!

Looks like the rumour is true. although I am not sure what his off field (in bed or wherever) activity has to do with his employer.

I hope that the club can resolve this quickly - this is no good for the people involved or the club itself.

Without being dramatic I hope this isnt the end of our season as the knock on effect that it will have on all the players and staff must be a shock and will take its toll.

Honestly don't see how the club could sack him over this.

Slap on the wrists and a fine maybe for brining the club into a bad light.

If everybody up and down the country was to be sacked for something like that 50% of Britain would be out of a job.

Thing is even if he is not sacked

So easier just to sell him

This is obviously an extremely sensitive matter and we should not play judge and jury, please follow the rules on this topic and adhere to the AUP guidelines. Hopefully the internal investigation will move quickly to resolve the matter, but until that time, we should be very careful what we post.

Please don't give names of players you think are involved or even the nature of what you perceive the wrong doing to be, as this could jeopordise a fair outcome for both the club and player. This is not censorship, but cautionary advice and whilst this is an open forum and views are very much welcome on any subject, consideration has to be given as to content and to the consequences of any possible legal action which may result.

As mentioned in another topic posted by Casmania, the guidelines are here for a purpose and in place to help protect forum members for posting potentially libelous comments.

Having been on the victims end of a similar situation I can sympathise with the other player involved, if indeed it's true, but time heals all wounds respect can be lost BUT also regained. This is an off field incident and should be treated as such. this lynch mob mentality on social media is only going to cloud people's judgement of the situation and the guys involved. While it won't stop any time soon I for one will not be reading any more of the bull that's getting splashed about and will wait for an official statement when the club are good and ready.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.

I fear this is the end of our season. Not just this incident but the injuries to the backs. If we win another game this season we will be lucky IMO.

Very true, it also makes me think this could have had an influence on our poor performance in France?

Lets look at it from a positive slant.
So carney as gone, seems like he's been a bad apple.
Now that bad apple is not there, maybe just maybe the boys will now pull together and show us the last 4 games mean to them.
It might just pull the group together.

That's the only thing that could of happened for a player to get suspended. Possible fracas on the training field maybe?

Go on Twitter and search Justin Carney.

You'll see the accusations there.
