Online Shop - Needs Size Guide!

Post by Mysterio » 03 Dec 2014, 21:25

Can anyone pass this on to someone who can help please?

Wanted to buy a pair of tracky bottoms, but totally unsure what size to get.

Same goes for polo shirt.

So I've bought....NOTHING.

A pit to pit laid flat measurements would help, along with a waist size for the tracks, and what they're able to stretch to.....

Pretty sure there would be an reasonable upturn in online sales if a guide was produced (forgive me if I've missed it)

It's a valid point, especially with the change of supplier.

Indeed, and would also reduce potential returns......

Can anyone assist with this please, or make the right person(s) available at the club.

I want to spend some money with the club but don't have time to get down to the shop and I want the right size. ](*,)

Can't you just ring the shop, ask on Twitter (if you have it) to @CasTigersRetail?

Your point is valid Mysterio, but it took me about 20 seconds to find this information on the Castleford Tigers website - probably less time than it took you to post here.

In general though I am very, very disappointed by the amateurish nature of the Tigers when it comes to things like this though - from being unprepared for a Wembley visit(they should've been preparing to get Tshirts and other merchandise available as soon as Widnes were drawn out of the hat), to a website and online shop that looks like it was made by an ICT A-Level student, it smacks of a small town club who aren't looking to expand.

That, however, is another story altogether.

sorry to put a damper on this,,, but those sizes dont look right to me.. according to the size chart for a 43" chest i need a small shirt . Then for 34" waist i need 5xl which is the biggest size they do... Plus a lot of women will not be happy about there shirts only up to size 16 .. Something has got to be wrong !!!!!!

If you're a 43" chest then a small is 43.6 inches to be precise. I would assume that this would be quite a tight fit.

Therefore, I'd suggest that you would be a medium or large (depending on how much extra room you want), which is 45 inches or 48 inches.

This gives you 2 or 5 inches extra to make the shirt more breathable otherwise it is likely that a small will be skin tight and wouldn't be comfortable.

As for the shorts, obviously only thin people can buy shorts and the sizes do look a bit odd!

I always take a XL or XXL the hoody I tried on that fitted was XXXL. In the shop the other week he said the biggest sizes were mostly taken by the players so I'm guessing the sizing is totally different to the ISC stuff.

Agreed. XXXXXL should jot be 34" Waist, unless it stretches to 50"!?
