catalans would be my outside bet to win something this year. the have signed quality and played well at back end of the year without an half back now they probably have to best in super league in todd carney

Catalans downfall will always be travelling, they struggle to be consistent on the road yet are really tough to beat at home

Think wakey nailed on for bottom, hull will be top 6 this time. This time last year I backed us to win the cup ew.this year I'm doing salford 10/1 (we are 25/1)

Without wishing to sit on the fence & get splinters in my a***, I think it's really hard to nail the exact positions with any confidence. So I'll go as far as forecasting the following :-

Top 3 : Saints / Wigan / Wire
4th -6th : Catalan / Leeds / Salford
7th - 9th : Cas / Hudds / Hull FC
10th - 12th : Hull KR / Wakey / Widnes

Think i'd swap Salford and Hudds around but other than that i'd agree. The top 7 to be the same clubs, with Catalans finishing higher than last year and the bottom five to be the same, but it what order is too difficult to say. Put it this way some have said Wakey are nailed on to finish bottom. I think that is underestimating them, they may not have the depth of some but there are some damn good players in their squad. If they stay fit they have as much chance of the 8 as Hull i reckon. As for us i think it will take a while to adapt to the team changes and a slower start this year might be the case. I'll go 7th at the split but this time to come home with a wet sail.

Take out Wigan, Saints, Wire and Catalan and I think its bum squeak time for the rest of us.

It should lead to some belting, suspense filled games towards the end of the first part of the season.

In all reality I see Super League as not so Super. Most players are of a similr ability, in this enviroment the value of your coaching become more important. What good players they are mostly play at the big four of Leeds, Wires, Wigan and Saints. After them clubs I don't think you are miles apart with ability. My predictions are as follows.

1 Wigan
2 Wires
3 Saints
4 Leeds
5 Salford
6 Hudds
7 Catalans
8 Wakey
9 Cas
10 Hull KR
11 Widnes
12 Hull
