No.

As I've mentioned earlier on this thread, we needed to use his wages on the cap. It made sense for all parties.

when was this ? a couple of weeks ago on their list of players already secured for next season, owen isn't there.
It's not been announced yet but, as I understand it, he will be a Wakey player next season.
Believe it when I see it. Contracted to us for next year we finished all our business by end of season

The statement we put out in the middle of the season made it sound like he'd gone permanently. Wakefield want to keep him.

I think Solomona is his replacement

Would have loved to have kept him and seen him back in the centre's but I guess it's just a case of economics. We need a big squad and having him in on a big wage just didn't fit into the plan!

He simply wasn't worthy of a) a regular place in the team (& defo not in the centres!) nor b) a big wage.
We won't lose any sleep over his performances away from Cas, unlike what we might do about others' ...

He had a great year in the centres for us before. And I even said it was a case of economics not keeping a big wage on the books.

I don't think keeping him at the club was good for either party's a lot has happened in richies time at cas and I really do think a fresh move can really benefit him and hopefully he can find his enjoyment of playing again and get back to a playing well again albeit not against us! I do think he brings great versatility in to a team and that has value alone but guess time will tell but I have a feeling with a preseason at wakey he could hit some good form.

it was under matterson and before his leg break. he looked at ease then in the centre's.
Anyway, i wish him well with his career and hope he goes on to show the promise of talent he had.

I was lead to believe that he was a very good stand off in his youth days?
