Re: liam finn
I've been a fan of his all season but he had a shocker tonight - he was in good company though.
We looked like a championship side tonight

Re: liam finn
Give over. Only real half back on the pitch for Cas and a pack that couldn't bust its way out of a wet paper bag are to blame. 17 players were crap tonight and you pick out one of them.
Huby hasn't even looked like he's bothering to put the effort in for a while now, his head is clearly in Huddersfield. Corn hasn't had a good game in months either, absolute liability. Kirk Dixon, again has been awful since the final.

snyed at hull fc
ellis at huddersfield.
clarks at warrington.........etc etc
We need to stop letting the amount of players leave all in one go.
Name me another team letting 7 go. Not including london/bradford.

Think Clare will be swapping flanks next season.GET EM ON SIDE wrote:Dixon was also poor again.
Re: liam finn
Did not go because of who was reffing but it would not have been any different whoever was in the middle the team looked totally spent the seasons end cant come quick enough for some as I said in another post the team have done well but certain problems are still within the squad some have been addressed but would hope that the other signings will cover those that remain.
Re: liam finn
sub standard, poor in defence (as is both Sneyd and Ellis), and no long range kicking game. not been a fan all season however he does offer organisational skills and a sense of calmness among the team. Either Ellis and Sneyd or Finn and a very creative ball to the line half back for me. Just my opinion in sure others will disagree
Re: liam finn
Our kicking game has given us zero advantage the second half of the season. Sneyd has gone missing and I full agree with him been dropped. Finn is clearly very fatigued and his kicks lack distance.
Saints killed us in many areas tonight but 4/5 different kickers all kicking the ball much better than our 2, and when you have a centre/ second rower in turner kicking better than two HB IMO there's an issue

Re: liam finn
Cant defend Finn tonight, his kicking game was terrible. He is one of our main organisers and i can't remember a decent structured attack all night. That said he looked like the most likely player to break the line which pretty much sums up the rest of the team!

That's where you lost your point.JCarter97 wrote:poor in defence
If there's a halfback (and I mean a genuine half back, not a back rower stuck there as an emergency) better in defence than Finn I'll be very surprised.
If you think Finn is a poor defender you'll be in for a shock next year - Luke Gale has made 338 but missed 76 (good for 4th most in the league and an AWFUL completion percentage) and Scott Moore, with 856 made and a league leading 91 missed!
Liam Finn has made 495 and missed 46.
Re: liam finn
Don't remember brad Davis making a tackle till he got his front teeth knocked out but he is a legend ain't he?
Re: liam finn
finn 20 try assists only 7 in the last 13 games along with 2 tries in last 13 games gale has 18 try assists 12 in last 13 games along with 8 tries in last 13 games. finn has 0 clean breaks gale has 7 finn has 5 offloads gale has 29 finn has made 564 meters gale has made 1139 finn has 10 tackle busts gale has 46. and finn has been playing in a better team and his attacking stats are nowhere near as good as gales

Think Ellis was better than Finn and more likely to break line than him. I like Ellis in attack, he has willingness to take players on.KB80 wrote:Cant defend Finn tonight, his kicking game was terrible.
