And we have the team to beat Leeds if we play the game and not the occasion, at 100% of our ability.

Fear it will be too early for Craig H.Too many important games (for example a Grand Final) coming up to risk him.

Holmes, Marriano and Massey have been magnificent recently and deserve a starting spot. But it might be that DP sees Frankie as adding more from the bench than Wellar so Haurak starts.

Either Wheeldon and Jewitt (both who have also been great) to start in place of Huby, with Carvell on the bench. If Craig makes it Carvell misses out for me.

Dixon
Shenton
Webster
Carney
Finn
Syned
Jewitt
Clarke
Lynch
Holmes
Mariano
Massey

Ellis
Wheeldon
Carvell

As long as he is 100% fit that would be a great boost for all. But, would hate to see him go off and miss the Grand Final as a result of bringing back too early

Who says we are going to make the Grand Final? Play for now. Not the future. If he and Daryl think he is fit enough he will play. This could probably be Craig Hubys biggest game of his career. I'm not sure whether he will make it but as we don't know if we are going to make the Grand final we shouldn't be 'saving him for the grand final'

He needs to be fit though. Wembley takes no prisoners. A few have mentioned Senior, but HullKR tried Gavin Miller against us in 1986. He had been their stand-out player that season, but was an ineffective passenger that day.
Having said that, Roger Millward won the cup playing with a broken jaw!

Senior and Miller had foot/leg injuries IIRC thus impeding mobility, mind you a nasty toe injury didnt stop Kris Radlinski winning the MOM at Murrayfield a few years ago. It will be DP and Chubbs call if he plays

Whilst I was being slightly facetious, the season does not end on Saturday. We are in for three trophies and have the squad and spirit to go for all three.

^^^^^ This for me. Frankie has come on leaps & bounds, offers far more offensively than Weller & imo his style is what will be needed on Saturday. It's quick mobility with staying power that's needed to overcome the Whinos pack & even without Chubbs & Millo we have enough to take them on in most areas. Most are thinking that the wider areas will give us an edge, but for me JC & KD will be their key targets, as they have been twice already this year, particularly at Shedingley. I predict JC will be our angel or devil on Saturday. It's a toss up which it will be. COYF

Injury doubt Craig Huby is in Castleford Tigers' Challenge Cup final 19, but there's no place for winger James Clare.

no more info as yet

DP doesnt strike me as 'the mind games type' so Huby's inclusion must be based on fitness and the fact that he is up for this!!!

There are still 2 to drop out which could include Huby, Milner is a cert to drop out.

Daily Express says team is Dorn, Dixon, Webster, Shenton, Carney, Sneyd, Finn, Lynch, Clark, Huby, Hauraki, Mariano, Holmes. Bench: Ellis, Milney, Jewitt, Carvell.

Given that Sneyd (at 6) and Finn (at 7) appear to have swapped shirt numbers, do we know if this is accurate or is it guessswork on the Express's part?

Senior had no buisness been on the pitch in that final,it was what turned people against smith. He always played favorites and still does now so I hear.

If Huby is near fit and says he is fit i would play him. Partly because nobody in that team will try as hard and if we rotate him to play in short spells he is exactly the type of player we need with his offloads.

Sneyd has always been at 6 with Finn at 7.

Did you mean Massey on the bench?

Just what I was thinking. I feel bad if Milner gets left out (feel bad for Clare) but Ellis can cover more roles, so I think this will be the case.
