Maybe but I'm 100% sure that we wouldn't be at Wembley of sitting in a guaranteed to 6 spot either.TheSheriff wrote:Don't sign Gilmour & Webster, there - sacrifice done.HuddsTigers wrote:baldtiger wrote:if daz goes i will be gob smacked .. one for what i have heard and 2 why would he leave his home town team when they are on such a roll, great coaches great team spirit and they are offering him a good deal. they are in the top eight or maybe top four . plus they are playing the most attractive rugby in the league ( confirmed by sky and other club supporters ) we can only pray from here ...
We were 30 mins from administration last season and needed the money. When you need the money, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of the club.
There's also been many people over the years wanting to buy Cas but have been driven away by the ridiculous asking price for the club so admin would not have been the end of the world, that I'm 99.9% sure of.

i never knew such a time was given to the club, in fact if it ever was, or is it just some other rumor that has blossomed into something

Really? I can't believe you'd ever think that administration is 'they way to go'. Going in to administration damages the clubs reputation, hurts creditors who rely on the club the pay debts and causes so many other issues off the field including point deductions, players being sold and a near zero chance of ever being trusted again. There's also been many people over the years wanting to buy Cas but have been driven away by the ridiculous asking price for the club so admin would not have been the end of the world, that I'm 99.9% sure of.
Start up a company and then go in to administration, then come back and see if you're still sure about the 99.9% percentage.

Steve Gill also confirmed he wouldn't sell Clark... yet everyone speculates he is going. Sold at the very point Gill said he wouldn't.Matt wrote: Confirmed by the Steve Gill in a recent article.

The 30 mins from admin was after he was appointed. So if he was sold then, as people here seem to know ( ) he was, then that was not before he was appointed.

Not necessarily.TT Tiger wrote:But the 30 mins from admin was under gill so people saying Clark was sold to save us from admin are wrong yes?
SG says a dark day in February - he doesn't say when. He was appointed interim CEO on 21st February so one could assume that the 30 mins from administration was as SF resigned and SG was appointed.
Clark is going sadly and no person can guarantee that a player will stay at a club. And I believe SG's comments were "I don't want to be the one that lets him go". I'm not saying for one second this is true - I don't know - and that SG is the one that sold him but sometimes circumstances changes and just because someone doesn't want to, sometimes they have to do things reluctantly. We have bank loans and bills to pay at the end of the day.
It's disappointing and sad that this has come about and there's no get out of this but the club comes first in my eyes - always.

Completely agree the club comes first it's the slightly different stories we get that are vexing I hope to see daz in back and amber again after this season, if he leaves I hope he returns, the grass isn't always greener
Re: So unfortunately it's confirmed Scott Moore is Cas bound
There is an article in this weeks rugby leager about warringtons finances mentioning that they paid out £230k in transfer fees in 2013? I can't think of anyone the bought that year apart from you know who?

It's November 2012-November 2013 so can include signings for this season.yorky wrote:There is an article in this weeks rugby leager about warringtons finances mentioning that they paid out £230k in transfer fees in 2013? I can't think of anyone the bought that year apart from you know who?
They paid an undisclosed fee for Anthony England to Fev.

Clark might go, but personally I don't believe that he was sold in Feb to balance the books. And anyone that says they know, who isn't Steve Gill, Jack Fulton or Clark himself, doesn't know.
Re: So unfortunately it's confirmed Scott Moore is Cas bound
Surely not for England though?HuddsTigers wrote:It's November 2012-November 2013 so can include signings for this season.yorky wrote:There is an article in this weeks rugby leager about warringtons finances mentioning that they paid out £230k in transfer fees in 2013? I'm rather sure that figure will include £170'000 for Daryl Clark

Some wag has edited the wikipedia page to say that they have signed Clark for 2015.
Re: So unfortunately it's confirmed Scott Moore is Cas bound
Someone also did the same thing by posting that we had signed Con Mika, a few years ago.
