What was Clarke put on report for?

Post by tallguyx » 24 Aug 2008, 22:41

After one of our first half tries before the restart Jon Clarke was put on report. My dad said it wasn't mentioned on sky so wondered if anyone here knew.

Might have been when I heard Smith say something about a lifting tackle (?) just before Wire kicked off

they weren't too sure on the radio but they did wonder if it was the reason McGoldrick was on his knees in the in goal area

Morley wants a ban aswell, dirty git .

Maybe they don't want to stand down because they want to rectify the mistakes they've made in seasons gone by.

The only person put on report from what I saw was Morley.

I can only recall Morley, and that was for something either in the scrum or in the tackle.

I thought Morley was called over because he is the captain and it was someone else put on report.

Morley should get 1 game for that he slid in twice with the knees on Wainwright, fair play to Wainwright he got up and wanted to knock ten bells out him but still intention from Morley was there.

Whether or not he will get a ban then i have no idea!

Just watched the game again, The Clarke thing is in the 32nd minute after wainwright scores in the corner. You can hear the referee telling the players (its not mentioned and you dont see him,but you can clearly hear it). and then he says he wants them to look at the tackle made on the man before the last pass. You can see next to nothing on the game though so who knows what happened!.
