80% more? Did you do maths at school?old cas lass wrote:On par with sargant .
I've seen the game 3 times now and sargant ran in and tackled 80% more than korkidas.
Korkidas did make one really good tackle, sargant though was putting himself about through out the game, as was catic.
Korki playing

OK then, opening set for a start Korki takes the 1st drive, Sargent the 2nd and Korki the 3rd. For the 15 ish mins Korki plays at the start those 2 are together in defence play after play, so unless your 80% more comment relates to when Korki was off the field and Sargent was playing its hardly accurate is it.
I rate Sargent, but equally I was happy to see Korki put some effort in so I can appreciate him as a player. Maybe his poor form for most of the season makes that appreciation impossible for some.......... maybe it makes it easier to ignore mistakes made by Sargent?

Completely agree.Steadman_4_PM wrote:Maybe his poor form for most of the season makes that appreciation impossible for some.......... maybe it makes it easier to ignore mistakes made by Sargent?
Don't get me wrong, i think Korki has been nothing short of a disgrace at times this season however i thought he had a good game last night.

I cant fault him yesterday as i say he was much improved -- Its just not enough to do it only once a season so he has still been a disgraceful signing this yearBone! wrote:I must agree with Rich n Steady.
How people still find ways to shoot him down after having a good game baffles me.
The poor bloke cant do wright from bloody wrong!

He is also very low in confidence.
But even when he does well , people are still on his back.

On Saturday he and Hendo and Fletch were at Starbucks so i thought id go over and talk, Korki himself said that he was playing and had been training harder than ever since the Huddersfield game and said that he was going to put in a proud performance (got to be honest wasn't sure what he meant in proud) i thought maybe to the supporters who had been at him since day 1.
Well he certainly did look hungry when he got the ball and did run with some velocity when he had the ball and i can almost swear i actually saw him BEND his back to tackle!
Is this a man who has took on board what the fans and coaches have said and done to him?

I doubt it, I mean TM will have been on his case all season, as have the fans so why would he only buck his ideas up now? Maybe its the realisation that unless he's awesome for the rest of the season we'll continue trying to offload him and he feels without some form he'll end up at Fev?WHELDON-ROAD-END wrote:Is this a man who has took on board what the fans and coaches have said and done to him?
