Not hard to believe - there are 11 coming out of contract.

Im disappointed if this is true, he might be alright s a interchange player.

I never rated this guy at wakey/huddersfield and always thought him to be very prone to errors in the defensive line....

I think he will fit in just fine with the players we have already got!

Typical Cas for ya feeling pressured into buying anyone for any sake!

If my information was correct we signed Evans a few weeks ago.
So I said to the Taxi driver, "King Edwards Close". He replied "It's alright we'll lose him at the next set of lights".

I think evans is a very underated player, saying that is age is against him. He can play wing, centre and second row though so maybe he has some value has a utility player.

Cockayne and hudson are good signings and just the type of players we needed to bring in. We need to concentrate on boosting our forwards now.

Evans a 2nd rower  christ. But like you said Hudson and Cockayne fantastic signings. Was only matter of time before Razza came back!

Only on loan and is contracted for next year. The players listed are all under contract for 2009. I did also add the caveat:

"There may well be renewals for some players currently not contracted for 2008 and some of those above and contracted may be released."
And how many "on loan to give them more 1st team experience" players in recent years have returned. The castleford interpretation of "on loan" is moved on. :x

Most of the players who go on loan to the leagues below get found out and end up been shown up.

Most of the time were right to not have them back.

I reckon this could be true because i think its Handforth whos out for a bit, they was saying Jack Lee was going to play there or 7 but onbiously they would rather have a recognised 6, Thacks youd after say is out of favour now at cas so why not do what Fev do best and come running to us for back up!

Well I have also been one that has welcomed back Razza WRE. His enthusiasm and commitment couldn't possibly do us any harm. However when saying this, I assumed we had paid something like just above the best offer or similar. If the contract I've heard we've paid out for him proves correct, and I'm pretty certain it will be, then as much as I like him, then not only will he not be a fantastic signing, but it will constitute a pretty lousy deal.

Someone will have seen us coming.

Well Evans scored the try that mathematically sealed our fate!
