Maybe they don't want to stand down because they want to rectify the mistakes they've made in seasons gone by.

True but boy what a crowd will be there, ticket only id say,,,,,
ive heard the new road is going to be called Hardisty Ave for the Stadium Addy, as that section of the redevelopment is named after Cas players, like the surrounding area has a american western theme, so Atkinson drive, Hepworth close anyone wanna add
Rudder lane...
Greenhill lane, warren walk, Pickering Ave spring to mind

Bryant Boulevard
That sounds far too rude !!!!

Yeah, thanks for your incisive and positive contributions so far.

As far as the ground name goes I can see The Waystone Stadium being the winner. Not very punchy but seeing as they have rebuilt half of Glasshoughton and will be looking to sell the adjacent business park to the stadium it would make sense.

The developers at Donnys ground (keepmoat) got naming rights to theirs, so i should imagine it'd be something to do with waystone.

As for naming stands/bars ect ..... the great St John Ellis should get a shout somewhere.

I think we could name the bar after most of the current squad, seems as they spend most of their time stood at one.

If we are to consider naming various parts of our new stadium then I would think that the powers that be ;) should consider a person who has served the club admirably in the past and would honour the title of ‘Mr. Castleford’.

The person I’m talking about is Len Garbett, who has served this club admirably in the past in the barren years of the fifties and the early sixties with great confidence and professionalism as club secretary.

He has produce a defining book on the history of Castleford RLFC for its inception in the 1920’s to the present day 1980’s ……. I believe he has been honoured by the club as a life president and I think that it would be remiss not to consider Lens name in naming rights for various parts of the ground viz. The Len Garbett Stand, or Lens Bar.
This guy, if you’ve not met him was one of the nicest, courteous, civil and dedicated people at Cas during some very, very hard times who was at the club at the start of the ‘Classy Cas’, ‘High Speed Cas’ and ‘H- Bombs’ era and would be a fitting tribute to the guy, an unsung hero, in the history of Castleford Tigers RLFC

We await his second coming, Chuck Hardisty MkII
