no doubt i'll get the typical 'you got to get behind 'em' remarks after this.
Can we honestly feel like we're moving forward as a club?
I'll still end up spending my £16 quid on em :x

Maybe they don't want to stand down because they want to rectify the mistakes they've made in seasons gone by.

Morrissey wrote:It isn't acceptable and I feeel for those who have made the trip up there- I can't comment or moan as I haven't made the trip for unforseen circumstances but it seems to be a blessing in disguise.I have to confess I felt we would get 60-70 put past us and I am not as such angry just devastated that we will probably be the first SL team to have 100 put on us. That is unacceptable for any pro team despite Saints being red-hot we shouldn't be this easily swatted aside.
I just hope and pray we can save face and not let them get 3 figures as this looks to be our darkest day on the field i our history.
Yeah it was a very long and meaning less journey and its what we got and deserved with out woeful attack and shameful defence, but it was to a certain point a nice night out, ok weathers been [REMOVED] poor but it was never going to be a tight game for us, i feel ashamed as a supporter and die hard fan but our fans however crazy, cheesy or abusive are they sure are all one hell of a supporter for getting behind our team who are bottom and losing by 68!

sometimes you after hold your hands up and say your not good enough, ive just got back from saints and tbh im not too sure what else we could have done.saints were white hot and in the form of their season and a lot of other teams would have got an hiding too.credit to the lads they did dig in second half and scored two cracking tries but that shouldnt hide the fact that where lightyears behind saints.
This was it, Tonight wasnt disgusting - We saw the new Super League champions at their best - Some of the saints handling was absolutely incredible - And at 46-0 at HT we were staring a 3 figure nilling in the face,
Credit to the guys - They kept going, scored 2 good tries and restricted saints for lond periods of the second half

The sensible people expect 60 or 70 this week

If you went to saints tonight to expect something your off your head.

I expected worse that this to be honest.

Anyway it was a good night.

I led the konga round the ground twice, pulled a saints bird and got applauded by the saints fans.

FFS, anybody would think we lost to Batley 68-12 tonight judging by people's reactions.

Yes, it's unacceptable have so many put past us, but a good side in Harlequins got nilled last week at home by Saints.

Saints are lightyears ahead of us. They've got a miles miles superior squad to us, and any sensible person would have tipped us for this sort of defeat.

To me it seems to be split down the middle by people who went and didnt go, them who went will agree with me that today wasn't an embarrasment as such as we've played a team full of internationals basically 1-17 and in the 2nd half kept them quieter than usual. Them who didn't go will not realise just how wonderful Saints attack and defence was there attack 80% of the time is beautiful and breathtaking and i enjoy seeing it (obviously not against my team) but still Saints are the Brazil of rugby. Credit to our lads first half they really did suprise us and hammered at us hard, 2nd half i think Saints let there foot off gas, but we kept battling in there and our persistance was rewarded with 2 very decent tries may i add.

What surprises me is that so many think results like this are OK ,yes they did hammer Quins but they struggled to get a side out with all their injries.
It seems the days when we could go to games and believe we were in with a chance of winning are gone for good and we will put up with shambolic display after display.
We are at present in the same division as these top sides and as a proffessional outfit we should be at least competitve, our points against compared to all the other sides is a total disgrace.

Sorry, I've been following Cas for 45+ years and watched them everywhere, but I've never been to Saints, mainly because we always seem to play them on a Friday night, but also because they hardly ever perform there.
Bottom line is that this season we have shared the points with the two best teams in the league. Saints were always going to want to put that behind them, as Leeds will next time we play their full squad away.

Mr Tiger please explain to me how being a so called a light weight is detrimental to being a dominate defender. So um you would'nt entertain the thought of a Dallas Johnstone (92 kg) signing with the heavy weights of Castleford.
