Sherwin was very proffesional today, glad in last 3 weeks he's silencing his critics with good performances. Everyone knew he could do it, was just a matter of time before he did do it and now he is, our performances are showing, Joe was very quiet today mind and LF is another position Ryan McG cannot play and should not play. Our defence was top today 10 points is such a confidence and morale booster, we can obviously tackle just some people don't and aren't putting in the work and commitment like some, i think we all know who the slackers of the team are.

Sherwin and Dorn had good games. For me, Michael Shenton.

Sherwin, I though he had another great game. Although they all had a good game. Good team effort

Sherwin edges it for me, just because without him I don't know whether we'd score the points to win matches or not.
He looks to have lost a little bit of the 'podge' around his belly in recent weeks and other players now seem to be on the same page as him, bodes well for the future.

Well apparently he got dropped for his drinking problems, i think hes had the ultimatum off TM so hes improved his body shape and fitness and it has really shown in the last 3 games well done to the guy for showing commitment.

Shifty has to get it from me .... had a good game again, as all of the lads did.

Sherwins kicking left me baffled, but other players knew exactly what he was doing. Dunno if the kick to touch that never made it but we got it was intentional, was awesome..... I'll just stay with the thought that it was intentional..... so I wont spoil it lol.

Awesome game lads, keep it going so we're not propping the table up anymore.

Have to agree about Korky. I think he has been improving in recent games & with Sargent arrival we will out muscle teams in the forwards.

Korki did get stuck in today which did surprise me, maybe he's had the kick up the arse he needed. Both him and Leafa had a good match.

When Joe plays at 13, he spends all his time 3 in from the right. Today he did a similar job but from the left, personally I think we missed him down the right but he had yet an other very solid game.

Sticking Ryan at 13 is just the latest idea from TM to accomodate 3 halfbacks into the side, without exposing us at fullback. At least TM seems to have learned Ryan is woefull defending from the back, but we do need his creativity and effort in attack. I guess when Huby, Gutts and Sargent are available we'll have to find someone else for Ryan to play.

As for MOTM, at half time Lupton was well infront. He sent Shenny away for his try, scored his own and also knocked the ball free in one of many tackles. 2nd half though Sherwin tackled very very well, kicked to touch when we needed a break and controlled things.

Nobody had a bad game though, other than the ref. ;)

Just an all round good performance but the most important thing was 2 league points against a team we should be beating, we've beaten 3 and drawn 1 against 4 of best teams in league and its teams from 7 down we should be nickin points off! lets start do it against Quins, Cats and Giants.

Have just listened to the ramblings of the GB coach AKA Tony Smith, on radio leeds along with the usual dirge made an important point regarding overseas recruits that "....it usually takes most of them at least the better part of the first season for them to acclamatise to SL, new environment, players and imortantly that NRL now is TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO SL.......and I think we are now seeing this with Shifty, the little 'dink' through their defence in the first half was pure class...worthyof the 'dancing master himself'

Need supplement this with QUALITY PLAYERS for 2009

Sherwin was instrumental in this victory and deserved MOM,
I am not convinced with Luke Dorn at all

I thought Wainwright was particularly quiet to game. Interesting to see how people view the game differently.

very intersting, i thought mike was our best player other than sherwin, saved at least 2 trys and worked consistantly hard all game.

We are forever grateful to Mike having rescued us from Sherwins failed penalty in to touch :)
