New Stadium
Maybe they don't want to stand down because they want to rectify the mistakes they've made in seasons gone by.

its better when people stand up!speedy wrote:All seating is crap, every one ends stood up, bad move if cas do thisBone! wrote:I would hope it to be an all seater stadium tbh. But if it is, I just hope the end we make OUR end, lke the WRE, we need to make it a stand where only Cas fans can go in and where it going to create a great atmosphere from.Fully wrote:We suggested that at the last fans forum. The club are looking into it. RW also has his heart set on an all-seater stadium IIRC.
thing is mate. that was a GF, we would need a stand that would create an atmosphere like the South Stand did.Steadman_4_PM wrote:Thing is, go back to the GF and having all one side of the ground Cas fans made for a great atmosphere so I can see where he's coming from. How often is it that the WRE sounds great but when Cas play the other way and get up that end, the atmosphere can go a little flat.Fully wrote:If not that RW wants standing down one side still.
A GF is always gonna create atmosphere. Cas fans are most of the time quiet and if we had a stand down the side like at WIRE then it would be a waste.
I would still say all seater and make one end behind the goal for the loudmouths
Btw, if it's an all seater, are we gonna have limited seats/segregated area for the Away fans? I would hope this is the case tbh.

I know the GF atmosphere was different, but TM and co have long said they'd prefer to hear us all down the pitch not just at one end.
I don't want to sit down myself, but to be honest I'll be glad that 3 sides are seated as it'll stop and the numpteys who spend 90% of each game walking about.

tbh, I have started to notice everybody walking about, not on the walkways, but straight through the middle of people and now i am beginning to understand where your are coming from.Steadman_4_PM wrote:I know the GF atmosphere was different, but TM and co have long said they'd prefer to hear us all down the pitch not just at one end.

I don't understand why people pay that money for a walk. Why not walk round the local streets as it wouldn't cost half as much!

I always tend to stand the steps infront of the walkways, but the number of times people bump into you pushing past is silly.Bone! wrote:tbh, I have started to notice everybody walking about, not on the walkways, but straight through the middle of people and now i am beginning to understand where your are coming from.Steadman_4_PM wrote:I know the GF atmosphere was different, but TM and co have long said they'd prefer to hear us all down the pitch not just at one end.

Some of those walking about are kids, who no doubt have had their season tickets paid for and thus don't associate walking about as losing money. Others though just seem to go along so they can wonder between the middle of the stands, the toilets, the burger place etc.
Oh and like you say, it doesn't matter where you stand these days..... if someone is wanting to get from the front to the middle / back of the stand they don't look for a gap they just walk through.
Not that you'd ever do that.

Well, I'm one of those [REMOVED] that walks about, but that's only usually to make my way to the designated steps up to the burger van to get a drink, or to change ends.
It's the teenage girls who walk around during the game that annoy me. I'm sure it's nothing but a social gathering for them. Oh well, can't complain. More money into the club at the end of the day.

I'm not on about people changing ends though, its people doing the walking mid half. Surely you want to watch each 40 minutes?Fully wrote:Well, I'm one of those [REMOVED] that walks about, but that's only usually to make my way to the designated steps up to the burger van to get a drink, or to change ends.

I do it now and again, simple because i think "he's up there somewhere" Nar, at the game the other day I had been chatting to my brother before going up there.Steadman_4_PM wrote:I always tend to stand the steps infront of the walkways, but the number of times people bump into you pushing past is silly.Bone! wrote:tbh, I have started to notice everybody walking about, not on the walkways, but straight through the middle of people and now i am beginning to understand where your are coming from.Steadman_4_PM wrote:I know the GF atmosphere was different, but TM and co have long said they'd prefer to hear us all down the pitch not just at one end.

Just ask Pele if he remembers what I look like.
As for the walking about, you ought to know the type of folk I'm on about and you're not one of them. But a new stadium with at least 3 sides seating is surely going to put an end to it?
