Now it was believed that Shenton wanted assurances from the club about future signings etc. This must mean he knows the quality signed up for next year and the line up is worth turning Bradford down. Unless the money is too much to turn down which I can't see that being the case.

Therefore I'm putting my faith in Shenton and looking forward to next year now.

I was re-assured by his father last week that he had signed a 3 year contract, could it be a mis-print somewhere? Or has his dad got it wrong?

Nevertheless, absolutley brilliant news all the same!

Might just have meant he'd signed to keep him here the rest of 08, plus 2 more years. Either that or there's an option in there for a 3rd year, but it doesn't really matter now does it! :dance:
