Thinking about it -- Yes i think her name was mentioned -- But the guy who was booked to hold up di still hasnt met his boss.

I refreshed a few times as I thought the page wasn't loading properly.

I've been MIA for a couple of days and thought all hell had broken loose when I looked at this board! I feared the worst and that we were being gagged .....

Many times have I seen the error occur between user and keyboard.

As the old saying goes 'Computers make very fast, very accurate mistakes'...

Ah well. I'm sure the conspiracy theorists on here will assume that they're being watched; these are likely the same people who believe that Elvis is alive though, so i'll not lose any sleep about it.

I will be totally honest with you all, Last night I received a PM and I am sure he won't mind me saying it was from Stevo as he has mentioned it in this thread already, and he stated that some people would think that the MR thread had been singled out special treatment as there were threads still available to view from as far back as 2006, let me say in a way we did keep a close eye on the MR thread but that was due to the previous incident not because we were having pressure put on us from a third party, the admin felt it had run its course and everyone had had a fair say, it was starting to go over and over the same ground, thus becoming totally pointless.
SO as Stevo had mention there were loads of old threads I decided to a forum prune on to start with this board, but as there was a problem with the prune system(which I didn't know at the time obviously) the rest have been left, I asked it to remove all threads that had not been posted in for 30 days, and to shock and horror, it removed everything except polls and announcements
I knew straight away there would be certain that will doubt my word and that is really annoying
I am also annoyed for the guys at the CTSC & SFSC as their thread have gone, sorry guys it wasn't intentional
and the really funny thing is for all the theories that it has been done to remove the MR stuff, that is actually still in the bin and could be reinstated if we wished
So sorry guys it wasn't done to stop anyone have a say or because any arm twisting was done, we are an UNoffical board, it was done accidently, I am still unsure if was a error in the system or my fault, Matt says there is a problem with prune system but I am not totally sure I didn't make an error

Once again I am sorry but I am sure it won't take you all long to fill the boards again,

It's ok Di, I wouldn't worry about it.

At the end of the day if someone wants to post stuff desperately enough, it'll appear anyway.

However... If you've got copies of all the old stuff from the beginning - couldn't the stuff that was migrated over to here from the old site be re-migrated? At least we'd have the really old stuff to reminisce over...

Either way, i'm sure it'll all be fine. We just need something to have a good moan about or something, and all will be forgotten.
