I was going for Catalans to beat us but I was impressed with cas first half on Sunday if we play like that for 80 minutes we will win I think

If the games not called off due to bad weather, then Cas to win by a comfortably margin. Catalan won’t enjoy coming to are place on a freezing February night under the lights. You look at their squad and they should be a top 3 team every season. But I fancy us to get off the mark straight away, as I do the first 4 games.

Ye good chance be called of looking at week a head. would be a bad thing be hard to rearrange catalan game think season starts month too early. If played if we defend better then at leeds should win 24. 16. To cas

I'm really not sure how Catalans will perform this year, the squad on paper seems pretty good. As much as I dislike him, Tomkins is probably the pick of their signings and can definitely play, and there is pace and strike in their back line. Their forwards I'm less impressed with, which is where I think we will win the contest - if we do!

Like tigerfeat I was impressed with the way we went about our business in the first half on Sunday. Assuming Eden is still out I think we'll line up like:

Peanut
Minikin
Foster
Shenton
Clare
Trueman
Rankin
Watts
McShane
Millington
McMeeken
JSL
Massey

Milner
Moors
Cook
Clark

I think the impact and enthusiasm that those players on the bench will bring will win us the game.

If we can make 4 into a 6 then I thinking we’ll win.
I believe we’ll score more tries than them, all about the goal kicking in my mind.
I’m not very confident if we let rankins do it.
Unless we score under or around the sticks.

I'm with you. I'm backing us to get off to a good start and be 4 from 4. Can't wait, this off season seems to have dragged on forever this year

I thought they could count a preseason game so he’d be eligible to play?

England v France counted as his one match, so that's done with.

It's a farce. The RFL gave permission for the England v France game to count as his ban because he was in the squad, then didn't consider any Wigan or Warrington players for that game because of the GF.

Catalan, were one of the most improved teams at the back end of last season after a horrible start, the reason for the improvement could be the signing of Drinkwater, this year they have Matty Smith as a replacement it waits to be seen Werther he can do the same , its going to be a hard match they are no mugs

Can't wait, not been to a game since England at Elland road in November. Gave the friendly games a miss, just too expensive for myself and three kids for what it is. Roll on next Friday. (Weather permitting) :D

Catalans have just edged Toulouse tonight in a friendly 22 18 with Greg Bird going off with a suspected broken thumb. Can’t wait now for next Friday. Everyone thinks pre season is too short but quite frankly I’m bored to tears and want some rugby back! Hope we have made provisions to cover pitch if necessary to make sure the game goes ahead. Looks like weather is going to be freezing all next week.
