Re: Jy Hitchcox
Me too. Glad he's got deal at a reasonably local club, which shouldn't affect his family life to much.

Good for him. He might be back in super league with them in 2020. The powers that be seem to want them back. I sense a 14 team league in 2020.

Re: Jy Hitchcox
Better than Clare for me and much more solid. Always did a good job and scored some great tries.
Good luck Jy

Re: Jy Hitchcox
Webster and Jy should form a great partnership together and could be one the best in the league.

Re: Jy Hitchcox
You’re actually quite right. I never was into jy as a permanent fixture whilst here, but, I’d have much more confidence of tries and performances from him than James.Lofthouse Tiger wrote:Better than Clare for me and much more solid. Always did a good job and scored some great tries.

Hitchcocks face didn't seem to fit not sure why he's a good winger anyway I see Bradford doing well next year

Re: Jy Hitchcox
Nothing to do with his face - just that he’s a quota player and they come at a premium.
Good attitude, did well when we needed him but nothing more than a squad player. That one spot could be invaluable in our recruitment plans this season and beyond.

I wish Jy all the best at Bradford, but reckon James Clare better all round player and English, so no quota issues.Lofthouse Tiger wrote:Better than Clare for me and much more solid. Always did a good job and scored some great tries.

Quota spot at a premium? Wish the club felt that way. We had Lo Hitchcox and Clark out on loan this year all quota/non fed players. Yes Clark came back better for his time away and the fitness he gained in doing so but Hitchcox was always a bit part player and as a quota spot it's criminal.

Re: Jy Hitchcox
Agreed.
Clark should be in the first team now and beyond and has earned his spot.

Re: Jy Hitchcox
The highlight of our year for me. Clarks emergence as a genuine 17 impact player that Powell seems to trust with more than a 5 minute stint. With millo getting older maybe Clark and watts should be our starting props!
Obviously Trueman too.
Looking forward to see what PM turns into next year
