Re: Big news tomorrow
JSL or Milner new contracts isn't big news, that's just news.
For me big news is stadium or signing related (especially if it were to be a marquee signing).

Re: Big news tomorrow
Big news doesn’t automatically relate to “good” news. Myself, I am hoping for a quality full back being signed from somewhere with immediate effect.

It does mean good news if it's announced in that way the day before by the media teamFumper27 wrote:Big news doesn’t automatically relate to “good” news. Myself, I am hoping for a quality full back being signed from somewhere with immediate effect.

Re: Big news tomorrow
If it was Mead surely he wouldn't have played today. A) He could have suffered a season ending injury and b) he's now cup tied. I guess it will be someone or something else.
Re: Big news tomorrow
Evalds would be the dream. An actual FB who would add so much value to our team.
It won't be though, as stated, it will be a contract extension for probably Milner (who I think has been average this year).

The media team still have work to do including not hyping up routine news stories and knowing the difference between "news" and "big news" - the latter to me indicates a "wow" is involved. Resigning an existing player doesn't make the "big news" category.
A guess would be its related to JSL and is being used as an opportunity to push the Tigers TV subscription sign up.....

Re: Big news tomorrow
My hope is it is a new signing or major stadium movement. Then Jesse and/or Milner sign up too in the next month.
