CAS v HULL

Post by classysupercas2 » 24 Feb 2018, 10:49

A real tester today. Lets hope Powell has improved the full back situation out. I doubt it tho he still is undecided who to put there. This is a full squad to choose from so if things go pear shaped today,we could have serious problems until a permanent replacement is found for Zak.lets hope Powell uses his skills to pull of a win at home to a depleted tired hull side. CAS 10 hull 24

After watching wigan last night it was there for all to see the trip to Oz affected there play.
Hoping it's the same for hull. We need to keep turning them and putting a lot of intencity into the game like wire did last night.

If were in it with 20 to go hull will tire after their trip round world. Hopefully we can pinch it

Actually thought Wigan looked the fresher team with 20 to go last night that’s on top of been battered for 60 mins.

First half Warrington just kept off-loading, making Wigan work hard every set.

They changed tack second half but still kept up the intensity. That's what we need from the off, but have yet to see it this season. Only 2 games in, I know, but hope to see them step it up today and play how we know they can.

For me, this game will tell us a lot about how our season is going to pan out.

My heart says we will win - just.

My head says we will continue our hesitant, flat, and ponderous start to the season. Their size advantage will grind us down (again) and at various points during the game we will look like we played a game this morning and get beat by 12 points with Kelly being a real threat for the entire 80.

We need strong leaders out their today and everyone needs to take 2 Milner commitment tablets an hour before kick off and again at HT.

Fingers crossed....

I am going with a CAS win if there was ever a time to play Hull this is it they are without Houghton who as always proved a thorn in our side, plus JET lag anybody who as flown from AUS will tell you in most cases it takes nearly a week to be back to normal so the preparation will not have been what it should

Only because Warrington put the que on the wrack.
Got sloppy that last 10 mins, thought they'd got it won.
Wigan never looked like seriously putting pressure on Warringtons line.

I just cannot see a win for us today if Hull play well. It's as simple as that for me. I apologise in advance to anyone whom says that I'm attacking the team or criticising the club. ](*,)

I think we'll score 2 or 3 tries but I think they'll score 5 or 6. I've changed my prediction to 16-28.

Just as an aside, I'd sell mcmeeken or offer him as a swap deal plus cash our way for Mead.

That's just me.

Crazy, looks like DP doesn’t have faith in green.

so we will be having a Second row as a prop again!!!

why drop Cook?

should have dropped Mcnot interested but you cannot do that to the golden child can you...needs to fully justify his place today.

My immediate reaction is that we look very light in the pack (including what's on the bench) vs the biff of Hull.

They are also lumpier in the backline than us.

Foster at prop again, dear me. It says a great deal about our forward signings .

Proves without any doubt whatsoever that Lynch was not replaced and that we got our recruitment wrong in the off season. What else can it mean??

Lee Jewitt would walk into my squad right now.
