Football to follow RU?

Post by Steadman_4_PM » 25 Nov 2006, 03:19

Linky

Sorry but I can't see this working, nor how they would implement / police it.

RU is a very different game, very often (I'm talking about the top flight, internationals etc) played by very different people to those playing football. As a result, I think until something else is thought up to solve it, we'll be stuck with players charging up to refs, veins pumping etc.

Steady it never used to happen, its a lot to do with all that money they get and their iconic status they believe they have.

The game of football is in danger of self imploding, there was talk a while back of football adopting the yellow card as we use it.

10 mins in the sin bin to cool down, I feel this would help the refs immensely it would stop all the play acting and back chatting to the ref.
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.
