Your lot going to kick on, or be like Reading of a few years ago?

Mate thats like asking will Cas finish top 5 or bottom 4. Thats why following Cas is so like following Stoke, you jump on at the start of the season and hang on for grim death.

Its the biggest adrenlin rush in town lol.

Hopefully with the right signings a shot at the top 10 should be our aim.

Stokie, did you sell or just loan out the guy from / to Reading? Can't remember his name, but didn't you spend £5m on him and get bugger all in return?

How many players do you think you need?

Yes mate 5.5 mil on Dave Kitson and he scored precisely zero league goals. Reading had him back on loan with an agreement that they would pay 4 mil to take him back if they got promoted. Thats us stuck with him then, problem is he doesnt want to play for the club and has said so publicly. Thats a massive no no with Stokies so his position is untenable, we dont mind crap players if they give their all for the cause, but to say he wished hed never come to Stoke has kinda killed his pig with us.

To be honest I would like us to get another midfielder (Scholes or Huddlestone) a keeper (Hart or Smeichael , why did we ever let Foster go to Man U) a striker (Beckford if the price isnt stupid or Cisse) and another good central defender who can cover for Faye or Shawcross but there aint many around.

With many teams thinking we are one dimensional (only 2 goals from Rory's throws after November) Lawrence and Etherington will cause a few surprises, with a fully fit Fuller and Beattie (what an inspirational signing he was) raring to go I feel that a top 10 finish should be our target. Yes we have to develop our game away from home in an effort to be more competitive (i would like to see 15 points on the road at least next term compared to the 10 we got this time) but if we can keep up the noise and intimidation at the Brit we can certainly give it a good go.

Stokie.

Maybe they don't want to stand down because they want to rectify the mistakes they've made in seasons gone by.

At least the banks are starting to lend money again, albeit wasted money.

I'm sure the price tag is equally reflected in his pay packet? Might just tempt me to move to Spain.

True but im pretty sure teams in the premier league would have paid double what he's on now.

As a United fan, yeah sad to see him go but 80 million, woaaah. Sure enough they can replace him with 3 or 4 world class replacements.
