New to forum
As a first time poster i would like to say hello to all you tigers. Fantastic club, fantastic supporters/people. Anyway a few posts back with the impending departure of Steve Gill there was mention of the possibility ofRobert Elstone returning to the club but being involved with a premier league team namely Everton it would not happen. Well apparantly Elstone is stepping down at the end of the season for pastures new. The article goes on to say he could well be heading back to run rugby league's Castleford tigers where he once was their former CEO. Just thought i would pass it on.

Where is the he article please? Any links?
Re: New to forum
He was never the CEO at Cas tho' he was one of the directors. He did want to be and couldn't which was why he left previously.
But I would certainly welcome him back as the new CEO, he is often to be seen in the crowd when Everton aren't playing on the same day.

Unofficial fan site it seems:

Also says that his successor stepped down - clearly no research given that SG didn't succeed him, nothing's been announced and I don't think RE was ever anything more than a Director?

Definitely would be a big step in the right direction at the top if this were to happen.

Re: New to forum
I read an article last month where he said he would be relinquishing some of his day to day duties in order to concentrate on Everton's new stadium so I doubt that he'll be going anywhere until 2021.
