The tories in bed with the DUP lol

Post by WF10 » 10 Jun 2017, 12:14

You would have to be crazed and desperate to have anything to do with this lot. Once the electorate realise who and what they are, the reputational damage of being involved with them is huge.

There is no coming back from that kind of involvement. The tories will be damaged for a long time in the eyes of the public if they deal with them.

Funny ol' world innit?! ;)

love the title :D

DUP are at least patriots and loyal to the Union and Crown. I suppose you lot would prefer getting Sinn Fein/IRA to take their seats you have plenty in common.

Calm down you lost

That's the thing. A 2 horse race and they came 2nd. Corbyn is spowting like he's won something. OK a hung parliament isn't great nor is a coalition but it's better than what it could have been.

So, now the dust has settled , let's be realistic ! Nothing has barely changed !

Corbyn's protest vote in enticing the electorate with white rabbits from hats was dead easy to do (anyone can do this but totally irresponsible to head the economy to the rocks again) has not worked and left the country with a hung parliament. To claim he has won is laughable - he's won diddly squat ! May is still in Power !

With the amount of white rabbits he pulled, he has totally failed - says a lot doesn't it !

May ran a crap campaign - who would you have voted for in an X Factor final on charisma ! X factor/Britain's got talent Britain intellect were bluffed by this and bluffed also by this "Hard Brexit" tag she has acquired and failed to diffuse - There's no such thing as hard or soft Brexit - It's the deal you end up with - Fact !

She will learn from this and be more vote'able in next election I'm sure as she has a lot to learn to connect with voters from being a wooden figure. Interesting to see though that she got 2 million more single votes countrywide than what Cameron did in last election so there is huge support for her so she can build on this..My prediction - Tory will come back better and stronger and finally confine Corbyn to that "Loony Left" dustbin where he belongs once she comes through with the lessons she's learned - His Protest Vote by bribery has failed and it will be exposed next time.

Mate, The only reason your leftie lot got anywhere near was complete bribery and May's totally crap campaign - All you've given her is a bloody nose at best ! I bet you are totally disgruntled aren't you and was crying in your cornflakes yesterday morning ! You can now proceed to follow Pied Piper Corbyn into the distance like a leming with no brain ! Tory blew it and so did Corbyn but hey ho she is still in charge and if she isn't, Bumbling Boris might be as a super sub !....ha ha ha !!! Now there's a thing !

You don't half talk some nonsense!

All they 'won' is a headline. They will set each other on fire and it will be fantastic to witness.

The mess they make for themselves will hopefully take years to recover from. It could absolutely ruin them for the rest of my lifetime.

Face facts - the future is RED.

Personally I think may is toast.i have never been a fan of hers and can't see her surviving.new leader with an inspiring manifesto ready for an October election is my best guess.

Getting involved with the DUP is surely long term electoral suicide.

Labour need to stand back, give them just enough rope (and May has already slipped the noose over her neck) then stand up to restore order over chaos and pick up the pieces given the disaster that ensues in 9-12 months.

Only thing that I can see standing in the way is the snakes in the PLP continuing to revolt and undermine Corbyn.

Chris Leslie is correct that Labour missed an open goal last week and the result was actually more failure for them. The Tories are are still having to implement austerity measures to repair the economy that was wrecked by Labour and predictably the hoi polloi are getting weary and haven't got the resilience to see it through. This combined with the £12 billion bribe that got the students out of their beds to vote means Labour never will have a better chance than last week.

This is one of the things I'm looking forward to witnessing over the coming months, all the Labour opportunists who previously and rightly called Corbyn useless trying to ingratiate themselves back into the shadow cabinet. I expect your very own Balls-Cooper to be one to have a sudden change of heart judging by her change of tone since Thursday. Sickening.

Chris Leslie is a joke - the worst shadow chancellor in history, who wanted Labour to match the Tories fiscal plans and welfare reforms. If he'd have stayed in post we'd have ended up on about 20% at most.

The likes of Balls, Cooper, Leslie, Alexander etc should either fall into line behind the leader or disappear into obscurity.

So that's how much power costs.

Cheap at half the price - would have cost 2 billion for Labour with Sinn Fein to get into power !

 still chelping on like they won

did you see dumb and dumber at Glastonbury trying to harvest more idiot hippy votes?

Our would be Marxist Chancellor won't be satisfied until he's stirred up public disorder, saying the Grenfell Tower victims were murdered is the type of emotive and inflammatory language that proves he's not fit to be an MP let alone Chancellor

Except he didn't say that.

He referred to 'Social Murder'. Which is a term coined by Engels and refers to individuals dying as a result of preventable political and social conditions.

It's not party political, the full quote referred to decisions made over decades, those decades included years of Labour government.

However, it is political in terms of pointing the finger at neo-liberals of whatever party.

Disasters like these aren't just accidents, they stem from a culture that comes from the top down. At the end of the day, if you pussyfoot around the issues then things will never change. Look at the amount of buildings that are failing the tests, it isn't a case of one or two bad apples cutting corners, it's institutional.
