Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
Just looking at the stats Big yardage figures from Mellor, El Zhakem (highest tackler too), Wood, Watts, Westerman, Lawler, Senior and Broadbent. It's good to see forwards making metres with 5 off them over 100 metres (only Westy generally did so last year). But to me ot further questions the use o...

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
Odd interchanges all game in my view and certainly didn't help the cause.
For me we just lack quality and spark.
Broadbent, Watts, Mcshane, Westerman, El Zhakem and Lawler went okay for me, Miller tried.

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
No chance.
Hopefully El Zhakem and Wood back and Mcshane and Watts available might help us make a game of it.
But the silly mistakes and poor defense will kill us off....

Playing a terrible standard not alongside team mates. Cracking.

Re: away at Batley
Why we have Hooley on the bench god only knows, why not get some minutes into Namo or Hindmarch's legs.

Re: away in France
We knew going into the season it wasn't about what we did on the field this year and that we weren't going to be winning many games. I think anyone who though otherwise was a bit delusional tbf. What I personally wanted to see was: - a team putting maximum effort in every week. - a team that looked ...

Re: Friday its Huddersfield
One of the most worrying things for me is our defense. It's so easy for teams to make yardage against, we hardly ever pin a team back for saset. Our goal line defence is awful and I have no confidence in us defending sets there. The cohesion and reading in defense is so bad that Huddersfield simply ...

Re: Friday its Huddersfield
Hooley is terrible, appears to have no defensive awareness/ability to read attacks at all. Simms looks championship at best. Milnes looks pretty much none existent. Putts a second rower been asked to play prop, he's clearly too small and ineffective. Possibly just not good enough full stop. Namo loo...

Re: Warington
Underwhelming tonight. I've come into the season without any major expectations other then effort and enthusiasm but I thought we looked very flat tonight and the inadequacy if some aspects of the team were glaring. I had faor hopes for Hooley but at this point in time he looks like a (good) champio...

Re: Warington
Sims looks absolutely shocking. Need to be looking at getting another winger in, or given Hodson a go in the backline.

Re: move on to Salford
Tasipale available at least.
Assuming no injuries I'd bring Kabula in for Watts and Robb for Simms.

Re: Wigan at home
"I'm led to believe from the sideline that the recommendation from the video referee was that Harry Smith's was a red card and that on the recommendation of an on-field official it got reduced to a yellow card. Why?" Interesting from Lingard. Some positives in defeat today: - we were in th...

Re: Next Years Squad
Listening to the podcast with Lingard it sounds like Simms might well be used as a winger and Woods centre. Sounds like Hooley is going well, could be a good signing imo. Senior has turned up in the best shape fitness wise. Richardson to be eased into game time. Miller has impressed in training. Th...

Re: Best Cas try
9) Chase vs Leeds at Donny in the CC semi final. Sublime solo skill. 10) St John Ellis was on the end of some blinders. At home vs Wigan when Xas kept the ball alive from our own half, with Nikau taking it forward, an amazing Blackmore offload to Kemp and to Ellis in the corner makes the list (St Jo...

Re: Best Cas try
My top 10 based on the try (and I'm some cases the importance of it). 1) Steadmans full length of the field vs Leeds. Probably the try I've watched most in my life! 2) Moors break, to Gale and the kick to Minikin vs Leeds. 3) Ben Roberts long range try vs Leeds when he broke passed to Gale and took ...

As 5'9 prop with decent footwork he could be a right asset in 2025 when the crazy tackling under the armpit rules come in!!!
