Tigers to announce sponsorship deal
The Tigers are set to announce a major sponsorship deal for next season and potentially for the whole licence era permitting the Tigers get one, the Casforum Website Team understands.
Details are unclear at this moment in time, but it is expected that the deal will be announced early next week with Monday morning seemingly likely to bring the fruition of news.
It is understood that major bus company Arriva, who have sponsored the Tigers on several occasions over the past few seasons, will be the people that will plough a significant amount into the club, although again details are yet to be released.
Whether this will see the tenure of GMB Union as the Tigers' main shirt sponsor come to an end after several years of association remains to be seen, however with the income being supplied to the club, it is thought that it could well be.
It was common knowledge around Castleford that Commercial Manager Craig Poskitt had talked to two potential sponsors, which included a trip to Millennium Magic to showcase the Tigers in action. It would therefore seem that as a result of this Arriva have decided to back the club, with Poskitt's hard-work paying off.
