Sponsorship confirmed
The new sponsorship deal, which Casforum had earlier predicted to be announced earlier in the week, has officially been confirmed by the Tigers.
The move will see Arriva, the bus company which serves not only West Yorkshire, but also other parts of the UK and Europe, continue to be a major sponsor and partner of the club.
The deal is expected to bring in a five-figure revenue for the club and will see Arriva feature as the club's community sponsor.
The deal will also see one of the company's buses feature the club, with Joe Westerman chosen as the person who will carry the club forward in terms of promotion.
Phil Cummins, Engineering Director for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted to announce our continued sponsorship of Castleford Tigers. The partnership has been extremely successful over the last three years and we are proud to once again be able to support, and be a part of, the great community projects. It’s a fantastic way to support our local community and benefit youngsters in the Castleford area.”
