Terry Worried About Gutters
Terry Matterson spoke to the YEP this week regarding Awen Guttenbeil“s calf injury, he starts by saying, "It's the second time he's done it and it's the same injury that finished my career."
With Awen being 32 years-old, the Tigers head coach, expressed his worry for the second-rower, saying, "calf injuries in your 30s can be a bit of a sign. He did his right calf against Wakefield, got that right and came back and did the left calf, because he was over-compensating. It is a really tough one and when we think he's right, he'll probably be another week away. He will be ready when he can go out and train for a week."
We will of course keep you posted on any developments...

A New Leafa
After being out due to injury since 30th March, Mark Leafa made his return to the team at the weekend relieved that the last month is behind him.
In an interview with the YEP, Mark 27 years old, said, "It is good to be back on the field, after the long-term injury I've had," he continues to say "I did it on March 30 against Bradford away, so it has been a long time. The arm came through Sunday's game really well. The medical staff have helped me out and got me fit. It will take a couple of games to get back into the speed of the game, but I have done everything outside the field to put myself in a position to be ready for the game and I was glad I got through it."
