Brent Sherwin Delighted
Brent Sherwin spoke to Sky Sports about the Tigers 38-20 win over World Cup champions, Leeds Rhinos, last night saying, "We watched them play last Friday night against Melbourne and the played really well so we knew it would be a tussle. But the forwards and backs all put it together and it was a great team effort."
Sherwin went on to say, "We haven't played too bad over the last few weeks but we finally put it together and put in a good performance to reap the rewards"
Cas', who were painfully close to a win against Harlequins, only to lose against them after Quins put two late tries over the line, remain bottom of the table, but Sherwin is delighted with last nights result and said, ""Last week we fell two minutes short and that really hurt us however tonight we did the full 80 and I'm delighted."
An unexpected, but happily recieved win, surely this is a massive confidence boost for the players and we will hopefully see some more wins coming to the Jungle in the near future.
